Great day at the Over Carnival
RGP Security were privileged to have been chosen (once again) to provide the Event Security and additional Night Guarding for the annual Over Village Carnival.
The Main Event took place on Saturday 15th July taking place on the Village Green.
The Village Green started to turn into a Carnival Arena on the preceding Friday with Fairground rides, multiple suppliers tents and the Event Stage being erected and sound system installed. RGP Security provided guarding throughout Friday night to safeguard the arena.
On the Saturday the Village Green area became a licensed premises due to the beer tent and RGP Security's SIA Licensed Event Staff were on hand to ensure public safety and licensing conditions were maintained.
Behind the scenes the Carnival Committee had worked really hard to put this all together and provide a superb event that was enjoyed by all. Their hard work didn't stop as they were working all day as marshals, Health & safety as well as manning the Control Tent.
As the Event finished and pubic dispersed from the area RGP Security were once again in place to look after and guard the site throughout the night.
Committee Chairman (Jeanette Fenn) sent RGP Managing Director (Rick Pridmore) a message the following day:
"You and your team are amazing.
The Carnival wouldn't be what it is without you. So thankyou. We will most certainly be doing business with you again.
