RGP Security supports the local authorities and businesses with the ongoing issue of shop theft, combining manpower and coverage to target the various aspects of retail crime, whether it be opportunist, prolific or groups of offenders (known or otherwise).
RGP can supply expert highly trained Store Detectives and Uniformed Manned Guards to cover the requirements and needs of the store or shopping complex.
All Retail Specialist RGP Officers are compliant and have excellent knowledge of the Theft Act (c68), Fraud Act 2006, and The Police & Criminal Evidence Act 1984 (PACE). This knowledge extends to all documentary procedures including effective reporting, statement preparation (MG11) and Civil Recovery.

All RGP Officers operate within the HM Government recommended procedure of ASCONE (Approach, Selection, Concealment, Observation, Non-Payment, Exit) and Stop & Apprehension.
RGP Security can supply Retail Officers on a permanent or rolling contract and can also supply Officers on an ad-hoc basis to cover requirements for:

RGP Security Officers & Door Supervisors are licensed and comply to the Security Industry Authority (SIA) standards.
RGP staff are SIA Badge holders, with qualifications in Close Protection, Door Supervision, Security CCTV(PSS).

It is a mandatory requirement that RGP Officers are regularly reviewed and developed to hold an NVQ Providing Security Services Level 2 Certificate through our reputable Training Providers and Accredited Awarding Bodies.
All RGP Officers are Level 2 (Emergency & Paediatric) First Aid at Worked trained.
All RGP Officers assigned to ground works or industrial sites will hold a SHEA Gas Passport.
RGP will assign specific Officers in order to meet the Assignment requirements.

RGP Security Officers & Door Supervisors will have excellent communication with all of our clientele and their customers.

RGP Security Officers & Door Supervisors will always be smartly attired in the correct uniform and correct PPE (where required).
